At Midland Lutheran College we know college is a unique experience that can lay a foundation for the rest of your life.  Thus, we place a high value on the lives of our students. 

Academics/Career

Midland is known for academic excellence.  Along with top notch academic programs, Midland offers support services such as the Learning Center (TLC) and Career Development Center(CDC) to enhance academic and career pursuits.

Midland is also committed to upholding a high standard of excellence by honoring students through academic honor societies and department recognition as well as recognizing the upper 10 percent of the student body by naming them to the Dean's List for each semester. 

Leadership

Midland is inspiring people to learn and lead in the world with purpose.  As a part of this mission, Midland is committed to shaping students into leaders through a variety of programs designed specifically for leadership.

Co-Curricular Activities

Leadership and the overall college experience can also be enhanced by involvement in a variety of co-curricular activities. With over 50 campus organizations, most students at Midland are involved in at least one of the myriad of activities that develop leadership skills, compliment academic endeavors, and develop lifelong friendships. 

Social Life

The lives of Midland students also include an array of entertainment and social gatherings.  Special occasions such as as Homecoming or the annual Christmas lighting are annual traditions for students.  A variety of athletic, musical, theatrical, arts, and other events are offered weekly on campus and occasional off-campus trips for students provide a variety of social opportunities.
