Midland Lutheran College is an undergraduate, liberal arts college that offers over 50 majors and pre-professional programs. Midland offers a variety of majors in the humanities, the physical and life sciences and the social and behavioral sciences as well as programs of study which prepare students for a specific vocation and/or graduate study.

Our curriculum is designed to educate and challenge students in their area(s) of study as well as inspire them to learn and lead in the world with purpose. Our academic programs are divided into three areas, which provide flexibility for individual goals to be met.

In the classroom, MLC business Professor Rita Bristol is not the type of professor who can just simply "get down to business". During any classroom session, she works the room, involving and engaging students in learning. No one hides in the back row in her classes - and nobody wants to. Bristol's enthusiasm for teaching and interaction in the classroom inspires Midland students, encouraging them to achieve at the highest level. She also carries this enthusiasm into her family and community life. Her energy and passion for learning inspires us all.
