The Warrior Bookstore is going VIRTUAL!

All textbooks will be sold only through our virtual bookstore.

What is a “virtual” Warrior Bookstore?

Rather than stocking textbooks on campus, students will order textbooks online (new books, used books, ebooks and rental books) and they will be shipped directly to you. Students will be able to click on their course(s), see what books are required and order them. This will minimize the risk of ordering the wrong book or wrong edition of a book.

Why a “virtual” Warrior Bookstore?

            The cost of textbooks has continued to escalate and often better prices are found online. Consumer-savvy and tech-savvy students are already shopping online to find better book prices.

            We were able to partner with the Virtual Bookstore Program to get lower book prices, higher buyback rates, 30 day return policy and an exciting opportunity for students to rent rather than purchase textbooks.

How will I get to the “virtual” Warrior Bookstore site?

            The virtual bookstore will be accessible by visiting Midland’s home page (www.mlc.edu) and then clicking the link the for the New Virtual Warrior Bookstore.   

When will the “virtual” Warrior Bookstore be available for students and when is it open?

            The “virtual” Warrior Bookstore opens July 1, 2010 and will be open 24/7/365 thereafter. Book purchase will be available July 26.

What items can I buy through the “virtual” Warrior Bookstore?

            Textbooks and supplies, MLC apparel and merchandise will all be available and in the future, items for purchase will include popular books, movies, etc.

Will there still be a bookstore on campus?

            There will no longer be a bookstore on campus; however there will be a Warrior Spirit Store where you can buy MLC apparel and merchandise. Look for more details about the Warrior Spirit Store to be announced this summer.
