Why did you choose Midland Lutheran College? I chose Midland Lutheran because it’s a small school with great people. I liked that I could be involved in many activities as well as my studies. I also wanted to grow in my faith at a Christian institution.
What do you like best about being a student at Midland Lutheran College? I like the personal relationships I have made with other students, faculty, and staff. MLC is like a neighborhood in which you get to know everyone. Since I’m from a small town, it makes me feel more at home.
What do you believe to be your most noteworthy contribution to Midland Lutheran College? This is my first year as a Community Advisor and I love it. The first year ladies I live and work with are great and I help out students every day. From getting locked out of their rooms to talking through the tough things that life throws at them, I interact with my residents and hopefully prove to be a positive role model.
Which core value(s) do you believe you uphold in your daily actions as a student? The core values I especially strive for are faith and stewardship. I actively participate in Bible studies and Chapel services on campus. I believe stewardship and faith go hand-in-hand, because if you believe in the Christian faith, you are called to serve others.
What is one thing others may not know about you that you are willing to share? I was raised on a dairy farm.
