Why I choose Midland Lutheran College? I chose Midland Lutheran College because it was a small school. I really liked how close it was to home and what the college had to offer to me. I was excited to find out that I could study to be a nurse and also still participate in choir. I really liked how small and close the community was.
What I like best about being a student at Midland Lutheran College? What I like best about being a student at Midland Lutheran College is the community that is here. I like having the chance to know a lot of people inside and outside of classes. I really enjoy how close everyone is and how caring they are. I really enjoy how the instructors will do anything to help you learn the course content. I know that I am getting a good education because the professors will go the extra mile to help you.
What I believe to be my most noteworthy contribution to Midland Lutheran College? I believe my most noteworthy contribution to Midland Lutheran College is my willingness to help. I really enjoy helping others. I enjoy helping inside and outside of the classroom. I help through the organizations I’m involved in and working in Residence Life. By being able to help others I feel like I make a difference. I try to help others whenever I am able.
The core value(s) I uphold in my daily actions as a student? I believe the core values that I uphold in my daily life are Stewardship, Quality, and Learning. I believe I uphold the core value of Stewardship because I love to help. Being involved so much on campus I have the opportunity to really serve the Midland community in many ways. I really enjoy helping others, and do so whenever I am able. I feel that I uphold the core value of Quality because I try to be a good student. I try my best to do well in my classes. I always give my all when it comes to a task or project. I feel that the work I do in class and out of class is to my highest ability. I feel that I uphold the core value of Learning because learning is never ending. I look at each day as a learning opportunity. I really value the opportunity that I have by being able to attend college and learn.
What is one thing others may not know about me? I was once on Jaywalking on Jay Leno.
