Thanks for visiting Midland Lutheran College's Blue Key International Honor Society Web Page. This chapter was founded in the late 1920's with Professor Herman Gimmestad as the first advisor. Professor Gimmestad served in that capacity for over forty years, and when he retired the chapter was named the Herman Gimmestad Chapter, thus continuing to honor the memory of an outstanding scholar and faculty member.
Blue Key exists to recognize both scholarship and leadership among Midland students and to serve as a service organization to the Midland community.
