Welcome to Hands On Leadership, a collection of exciting learning opportunities offered through the division of Student Development at Midland Lutheran College designed to help students enhance their leadership potential.

Components of Hands On Leadership include:

• Stuck On Service Retreat—A Fall leadership retreat to help emerging and seasoned leaders become better leaders
• The Student Leadership Team—A student advisory board
• Leadership Discovery—A program for emerging leaders
• Hot Topic Series—Monthly brown bag lunch session highlighting topic for organization officers
• “In Your Hands”—A newsletter on leadership topics
• Fired Up Retreat—A interterm retreat designed to “recharge the batteries”
• High Five Award—A monthly award for students who display positive leadership qualities and exemplify the five core value of Midland Lutheran College
• Spring Recognition Event—An opportunity to celebrate leadership efforts by individual within organizations
