Biography:

Prof. Earl Heidtke teaches World Regional Geography, Geography of North America, Physical Geography and United States Government.  In addition he serves as the chair of the Technology Advisory Committee (TAC.)

His experiences include teaching grades 5-8 and serving as elementary school principal at Hadar, Nebraska; teaching Social Studies courses and serving as Administrator at Nebraska Lutheran High School in Waco, Nebraska, and teaching education, science and social studies courses at (D)MLC since 1992.  This gives him experience in teaching in multigrade classrooms as well as administration.  He also has taught at elementary, secondary and post-secondary levels.  Online educational opportunities include secondary, collegiate and in-service teacher courses.

Prof. Heidtke grew up on a Wisconsin dairy farm and appreciates the beauties of God’s creation when he travels.  Additional cultural appreciation has been developed through travel to Asia, South America, Europe and Africa.  His wife, Pam, serves the MLC campus as receptionist.
